Hello, I'm home. Bath time!
You hear your doorbell ring + then a slight thump.
You think for a quick second; What's that? Who can that be.. Then quickly remember that your Luna package was being delivered!
Your crystals have arrived, they are unwrapped quickly. lot’s of Oh my god’s, oh wow’s + asking your loved one’s to admire your new rainbow filled beauties just as much as you are.
Now it’s time to cleanse, if you wish. They are already jam packed with all the loving energy but it’s nice to create a little ritual with your new babies.
Here are a few different ways that you can bathe your new crystals.
Water
Water is such a beautiful way to cleanse your crystals. Water helps to release + move stored energy within your crystal. But you will have to check to make sure that your crystal is water safe.
- Hold your crystal under running water for 30 seconds
- Use a ceramic or glass container. Add water, a pinch of salt + let them relax for 10-30min.
- Rinse in a natural water source such as the ocean waves, rivers, streams, creek etc.
Moon Baths
The Pure beautiful light + magic of Mama Moon removes the toxins from your crystals + yourself all in one. It’s also a nice way to keep you on track as far as cleansing your crystals since you have a little reminder every month. Even when you can’t see the moon because she is hiding, you can still feel her beautiful presence.
Sound & Musica
Sound wave of certain tones can loosen the energies from crystals. Let the music wash over your crystals for 1-5 min or as long as you would like to dance to the beat of the cleanse. Try one of these friends and see if this is the right tune for you.
- Singing bowl
- Chme
- Drum (One of my favorites)
- Tuning fork.
Herbs
Let the smoke carry away all the energies that need to be set free. Herbs are very good for clearing strong + stagnant energy. Light the herb of choice + allow her to do her magic for 1-5 min. I tend to sage my whole space while I’m at it. Here are a few different sacred herbs that I like to use.
- White sage
- Palo Santo
- Rosemary
- Incense
- Frankincense
- Cedar
Crystals Cleanse Crystals
There are a few crystals out there that you can use for both charging + cleansing your new babies. Selenite, Kyanite + Moldavite are all exceptional crystal tools that you can keep around for this specifically.
Mama Earth care
A good way to fully bring your baby back to square would be to give him/her back to her mama. The power of the earth will absorb any energies that are no bueno + will bring it back into balance. Place your crystal in the earth on a full moon + leave it there to soak up all the goodness for a full moon cycle. Perhaps put a little tumble over it to hold its place and keep good track of where she is hiding.
These are just a few methods that I have liked + utilize on a regular basis.
P.s. Remember to set your intention with your new crystal as you are cleansing her if you wish. Just a little extra something that will help you connect with your crystals on a deeper level.
